Mohamed is an Environmental Specialist with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Bright Star Technical University in 2001 and went on to earn a Master’s degree Engineering in 2004. Mohamed joined the Libyan National Corporation (NOC) in 2005, progressing through roles to become Head of the Environment Department within the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department. He also holds a higher diploma in Environmental Systems Analysis and Management from the Centre for Maritime & Industrial Safety Technology Limited (C-MIST) Heriot-Watt University Research Park Edinburgh, Scotland, completed in 2015.
Mohamed is known for his expertise in conducting Environmental training programs, having led multiple initiatives for companies in the oil and gas industry. Additionally, he represents NOC as a member of the Libyan executive office of the National Climate Change Committee.
