15 November 2024; the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting was held at Elite World Hotel in Istanbul-Turkey. This meeting was attended by representatives from APO, BiAT-RH, DESMI, Eni Tunisia, EPE, ETAP, IPIECA, JANAF, MEKE Marine, NOC, SEREPT, TRAPSA, and TPS.

During this meeting, the MOIG Director presented the Report and Accounts 2022-2023, the financial situation at 30 September 2024, the activities and provisional budget for 2025 year and the proposed Amendment of MOIG Constitution and Rules Revision 5 - Version November 2024.

The Extraordinary General Assembly agreed to amend the Articles 5, 6, 21and 30 of MOIG Constitution and Rules as well as elected a Chairman and Vice Chairman. The new Management Committee Members for the mandate 2024-2026 will be composed of:

·         Malek Kallel, HSSE Manager at SEREPT, Chairman

·         Mohamed ADBEIB, Head of Environment Division at NOC, Vice Chairman

·         Hatem BEN KHELIL, HSSE Expert at ETAP, Member

·         Bechir JAOUADI, Head of Health, Safety and Environment Department at TANKMED, Member

·         Achraf BEN DHIFALLAH, HSSE Engineer at TPS, Member
