13-15 January 2026, meetings were held between Dr. Vassilios Mamaloukas, Mr. Yannis Bassias, Mr. George Kouskoulis from EPE and the MOIG Director at EPE premises in Athens, Greece, to discuss and exchange views on the first draft of the agenda and the logistical arrangements for the

forthcoming regional workshop entitled “Strengthening Partnerships for Oil Spill Preparedness and Response”, scheduled to be held from 03 to 05 November 2026 in Athens, Greece.

We were very pleased with the outcome of these meetings, as both parties agreed to provide the necessary resources to ensure the success of this event.
