22 June 2026, MOIG is pleased to invite members and technical partners to the General Assembly Meeting that will be held on 06 November 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Royal Olympic Hotel, Athens, Greece, in conjunction with the Regional Workshop on “Strengthening Partnerships for Oil Spill Preparedness and Response”.

In accordance with the MOIG Constitution and Rules, the mandate of the current Management Committee will expire in November 2026, and elections for the 2026–2028 term will be held during the General Assembly Meeting. As part of this renewal process, all members are encouraged and invited to serve on the Management Committee.

MOIG has achieved significant progress under the guidance of the current Management Committee and would like to continue building on the same enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated throughout the current mandate. The existing Management Committee has played a key role in shaping into the organization it is today, and we sincerely thank its members for their valuable efforts, dedication, and continued support.

MOIG will prepare a document summarizing the 2024–2025 Report and Accounts and the financial situation as at 30 September 2026. This document will be circulated to members prior to the General Assembly and presented to participants during the meeting.
